The TOEFL Score Calculator is a free online tool that provides you with an estimated total TOEFL iBT score based on your performance in the four test sections- Reading, Listening, Speaking, and Writing.

Test takers who find TOEFL scoring confusing can use the tool to track their test performance, determine how close they are to their target score, and identify which sections require more focus. Whether you're preparing for the real exam or just checking your progress, the TOEFL Score Calculator gives you instant results to help you stay on track.

The TOEFL iBT (Internet-based Test) is scored out of a total of 120 points, with four sections, each carrying a maximum of 30 points. The final TOEFL score is the sum of the four sections.

Reading and Listening are automatically scored. Speaking and Writing are evaluated using a combination of human raters and AI scoring systems to ensure fairness and accuracy.

A “good” TOEFL score depends on your goals and where you're applying. The TOEFL iBT is scored out of 120, and most universities or institutions set their own minimum requirements.

  • 100+: Excellent Score- Suitable for top universities like Harvard, Stanford, etc.
  • 90–99: Very Good- Accepted by many competitive programs and visa offices
  • 80–89: Good- Meets the minimum requirement for most undergraduate admissions and visas
  • Below 80: Basic- May not qualify for many academic institutions

However, it is advisable to aim for at least 90+ if you plan to study in the US, Canada, the UK, or Australia.

Using the TOEFL Score Calculator is a quick and easy process. Follow the given steps to calculate your score:

  1. Enter your scores for each section, i.e., Speaking, Writing, Reading, and Listening. The score must range from 0 to 30.
  2. Click on the "Calculate" button to process your input.
  3. You will get your estimated TOEFL score instantly on the screen.

This estimated score will give you an idea of your current proficiency level and help you track your progress, allowing you to set a target for improvement.

Note: This calculator provides an estimate for self-assessment and planning purposes only. It is not an official score.

The TOEFL Score Calculator is a quick and reliable way to estimate your total TOEFL iBT score before the actual exam or result. It helps you:

  • Track your progress during practice tests
  • Identify weak areas by reviewing section-wise scores
  • Set score goals for university admissions or visa requirements
  • Save time with instant, accurate results

Whether you're preparing to study abroad or just checking your readiness, this calculator gives you a clear picture of where you stand.

Improving your TOEFL score takes strategy and consistent practice. Here are some simple yet effective tips that you can follow:

  • Practice all four sections regularly with a major focus on areas where you're losing points. Use section-specific exercises to target gaps.
  • Take full-length practice tests with real TOEFL-style questions from ETS or trusted prep platforms.
  • Simulate the actual test environment to build your time management and concentration skills.
  • Take weekly full-length mock tests and re-use the calculator to monitor improvement.
