The PTE test is a computer-based test, which means you will be using a computer to complete the test. You will be provided with a headset for listening to the audio material during the Listening section.

There is no penalty for guessing in the PTE test. You are encouraged to answer all questions to the best of your ability, as this will contribute to your overall score.

There is a short break between the Reading and Listening sections. However, there is no break during the Speaking and Writing section, as it is conducted at the beginning of the test. If you need to use the restroom or have any other personal needs during the test, inform the test administrator, and they will provide guidance on how to proceed.

Cheating during the PTE test is a serious offense. If caught, you may be disqualified from the test, and your results will be canceled. In severe cases, you may face additional consequences, such as being banned from taking future PTE tests.

To maintain focus during the test, try to arrive well-rested and prepared. Familiarize yourself with the test format and question types. Take short breaks if needed, practice time management, and stay calm and composed throughout the test.

Inform the test administrator immediately if you face any technical issues or have any questions. They will assist you in resolving the problem or provide alternative solutions, if possible.
