Is RGIT Australia still operating?+
No. RGIT Australia has closed. The Australian Government’s Tuition Protection Service states that Greenhill Education Group Pty Ltd, trading as RGIT, ceased operating on Friday 22 August 2025.
What is the Tuition Protection Service?+
The Tuition Protection Service is an Australian Government scheme that helps eligible students when an education provider closes. For RGIT, the TPS activated on Thursday 28 August 2025 to assist affected international students with alternative study options and refunds of unspent tuition where applicable.
How can former RGIT students get help?+
Former students should follow the official TPS guidance for affected students. They may also need to contact the relevant education regulator or appointed liquidator for student records, enrolment evidence or other documents.
Can new students enrol at RGIT?+
No. Because RGIT has ceased operating, prospective students cannot enrol there. Students looking for similar vocational courses should choose another currently registered provider and confirm its CRICOS status before applying.
Should RGIT be listed as an active college?+
No. RGIT should only be listed as a closed provider or historical institution. Any current student-facing page should clearly state that it has ceased operating.
