Carnegie Mellon University Australia was the Adelaide campus of Carnegie Mellon University, a private United States university, run through its Heinz College. Established in 2006 at the invitation of the South Australian Government, it was based in the heritage-listed Torrens Building on Victoria Square in central Adelaide, and was among the first international university campuses in Australia. It offered master's degrees in public policy and management and in information technology, awarded by Carnegie Mellon University. In June 2022, the university announced it would wind down the Adelaide operation, and the campus has since closed, with students taught out to graduation.
